エコ容器って何だ？
２回目の投稿ですね。環境局容器担当（と総務局飲料担当）のしまもとです。
さて、駒場祭までの日数があっという間に短くなってまいりました。つい最近まで「あと１か月！」なんて騒いでいた気もしたのですが…。
前回はエコプロジェクトの紹介をしたので、今回は自分の仕事のことを書こうかな、と思っています。
僕の主な仕事は、「エコ容器」を仕入れて、模擬店や喫茶店を出す企画の方々に販売することです。他にも、飲料業者と企画の間の仲介を行うなどしています。つまり、模擬店・喫茶店企画の方々のサポートを行っているのです。このような、地味な（しかし重要な）仕事は他にもいろいろとありまして、主に総務局員がこの手の仕事を担当しています。
もっとも僕が関わっている「エコ容器」については、ただ単に企画の方々のサポートというだけではなく、環境にやさしいエコ容器の利用を促進し、エコな駒場祭を目指そうという目的もあります。それゆえ容器担当は総務局でなく環境局の一担当なのです。
それではエコ容器は何がエコなのかと言えば、木材ではなく、サトウキビのしぼりかすを原料とした容器だという点です。しかも、分別回収されたあとはトイレットペーパーとして再利用されます。駒場祭で使用される容器の量はあまりに多いため、このような環境への配慮が義務であると考えています。
エコ容器に限らず、駒場祭ではあらゆる環境対策がとられています。当日は101号館南休憩所の「エコブース」にて環境対策の展示などを行いますので、休憩がてら、ぜひお越しください！
